So i finished this post and immediately threw in "She Hate Me"
It was totally watchable. shot really well, the story didnt suck, it was a little light but the acting was pretty good. the male lead was really talented.
all in all, made me feel like a dick from start to finish for lambasting the bastard and then watching his most recent film which was not horrible at all.
hell of a surprise tho' fools made some shit ass movies. fuck it. I make no apologies. it's his damn fault i watched bamboozled, he's the one who needs to fucking apologize.

meh? i LOVED bamboozled. i really thought it was fantastic. i also hear that she hate me totally blows because he failed to consult any lesbians before making the film.
I wanted to love bamboozled so damn bad, but it sucked. the dv camera work hurt to watch. and for she hate me, if you looked for any kind of mature sentiment or depiction there, you rented the wrong movie. it was a comedy. it was filled with cartoon lesbians.

i used to be in refuse and resist. i was not a communist then and am not now. i worked on police brutality issues, protested all over the place,, and did prison reform stuff. and the comment about short-sighted politics was his irritating mgmt/class war quip. ughh.can't we all just think hard about politics together for like 5 minutes? and yeah, the guy who posted that comment was totally creepozoid.
